Happy Hannukah

Ms. Trueman, our special guest (and Ms. Martindale's Stepmom) taught us about Hannukah. We listened to a story, learned about the menorah, ate latkes, cookies and Hannukah gelt. We also spun a dreidel!

"N" Week starts on November 9th!

This week we will focus on the letter "N" and the color brown. Please wear brown on Thursday November 11th as we do not have school this Wednesday. We will also discuss end sounds while reading about dragons.

We have Butterflies!

We had a wonderful evening. The Stars of 108 were shining bright. I want to thank the students, the families, Mihal, Mr. C., Mrs. Ossont, Mrs. Patte, Mrs. Keagle, Ms. Nolan, Mrs. Humble, and Mrs. Keller for a very rewarding year.

We celebrated all of our wonderful stories at our Author's Celebration on Wednesday. The authors read their stories in wonderful clear voices! Our audience was full of quiet and respectful listeners. We look forward to inviting our grown-ups to the next celebration!

Pajama Day

We had so much fun celebrating Pajama Day! The room was extra cozy as we read with our friends!

Sciencenter Fieldtrip

The class had a great time at the Sciencenter! We met our South Hill buddies (Mrs. Grossman's Class), had a wonderful lesson on magnets, and explored the Sciencenter. Mary took great pictures as well!
