First Peoples' Festival co-sponsored by Ithaca College will be held in Dewitt Park, Oct 1st, in conjucntion with Apple Fest


The First Peoples' Festival will be held Saturday Oct. 1st from 10am - 6pm in Dewitt Park in conjunction with one of the most popular events in Ithaca -- Apple Fest.  We will welcome Native American tribes and nations from all over the state of New York and beyond. Featured events include Ganondagan's Young Spirit Dancers, traditional flute music with Dan Hill (Cayuga), Native storytelling by Tonia Loran-Galban, cornhusk doll making with Marcela Kane, lacrosse demonstrations with Alf Jacques (Onondaga), basket weaving and water drum demonstrations, music, art, crafts, food and more!
