No school February 2nd due to Superintendent's Conference Day.

Please send in egg cartons and newspaper!

Baggie Books

Thank you so much for all of the reading you have been doing at home. The children love getting a new book to bring home and read. Sometimes your child will bring home a previously read book. It is important for your child to reread familiar texts so that they can build fluency and stamina while reading!

We are taking a hike on Thursday, January 28th!

Please send your child to school in warm clothing and boots everyday! Next Thursday it will be even more important as we have planned a hike. We will search for animal tracks around the school, weather permitting. If there is not enough snow cover we will enjoy a nature hike while listening for animals.

After attendiong a workshop by ThinkWorks, we are looking at Systems. Please ask your child about objects or concepts that can be broken down into parts. Can those objects or concepts be seen as a part of a larger whole?
